[ XXI ] Border II

I am fascinated by David Hockney saying „I want to look through the picture until it gets under your skin.“ I like the calm, level-headed and perfect technique in the pictures by Edward Hopper and Gerhard Richter. I am drawn to the intensity and balance of the abstract expressionists Franz Kline, Willem de Kooning and Cy Twombly. I admire the painterly precision of the Renaissance. The Baroque delights and enchants! The light in the images and the dynamics are intoxicating.
